Backbends & Arm Balances - Iyengar Workshop with Courtney Yezzi

In this workshop, we will deepen our back bending practice with the use of a chair in Viparita Dandasana (backbend in the chair) to enhance our Urdhva Dhanurasana (upward facing bow pose). We will also practice going upside down in Adho Mukha Vrksasana (full arm balance) and Pincha Mayurasana (peacock feather pose).
Together we will cultivate a backbend tapas that will remove any fear or doubt of moving deeply into the back body! There are stages for all levels of practitioners during the arm balance portion of class.
