Yoga & the Art of Contemplative Practice with Gretchen Donovan

Saturday, June 8, 2019

Explore anatomy, physiology and the introspective nature of yoga and contemplative education. Most of us are in a rush to accomplish something so we miss the subtleties that bring a richness to our lives when we slow down. Bringing more enthusiasm to the ordinary and more curiosity to the unknown offers us an opportunity to deepen our relationship with ourselves.

A slow, deliberate, thoughtful practice opens the gates of compassion and calms the central nervous system. If we listen attentively to our inner landscape and trust our innate intelligence, our mind relaxes and the body opens to its fullest potential.

This 3 hour intensive will offer playful and insightful asana, meditation and reflection for all levels of practitioners.
