Join Kirti every Thursday IN PERSON for Genie Yoga & Mindfulness for Children.

In our fast-paced and high-tech modern world, children spend most of their time with packed schedules. Their free time is spent with their tiny heads buried in the electronic gadgets. They face over stimulation; distractions; academic and peer pressure, too early in life.

Yoga can often seem like a boring form of exercise for children. Contrary to this common belief, yoga can be fun and relaxing at the same time, with several other ‘hidden’ benefits.

This engaging and non-competitive class involves children through music, crafts, or story time and gently guides them to breathwork and yoga postures, followed by relaxation. Children are encouraged self-expression. They learn techniques that they can take out with them and use in their daily lives!

Allow me to be with your children in an 8-week workshop to experience the power of yoga and mindfulness for children.

MAY SPECIAL – 4 sessions $75

Only $120 for all 8 sessions!

Kirti has a passion for bringing yoga and mindfulness to children. She uses yoga as an easy tool to help children reduce stress to lead healthier lives. She has consistently found yoga to have positive effect on students, especially in keeping them focused and happy, which will help them through their lives.

As a certified children’s yoga instructor and a mother of two, Kirti believes that a regular yoga practice with children has additional magical benefits of helping them to overcome negative emotions like jealousy, fear and anger, increase lung capacity, improve immune system, augment imagination and creativity, improve posture and infuse confidence.

Kirti is a lifetime yoga practitioner and has completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training. Besides a yoga instructor, Kirti is also a graduate of the Harvard T.H.Chan school of public health. She has been a global public health and nutrition expert, dedicated to improving health outcomes for vulnerable populations across the globe, for over a decade.
