Jeannette began practicing yoga at the age of 39 to reduce stress and relieve sciatica, and as she continued to practice she found that her practice enhanced her life in so many other ways too. Practicing now for more than ten years and teaching for seven years, yoga is an integral part of her everyday life.
Jeannette has studied with Geri Portnoy, Betsey Downing and Noah Maze. Jeannette is a native San Diego who also enjoys travel, scuba diving and quilting in her spare time. She has a degree from SDSU in nutrition.
Jeannette’s classes use alignment, movement, and focus on the breath as the tools to freedom from the stresses of life. Jeannette shares her love of yoga and her continuing exploration of the breath with her students.
