You will find Mary’s class to be very nurturing yet challenging, with a combination of precise alignment instruction and a joyful flow of grace through breath and mindful movement, emphasizing your inner awareness of how the pose feels and connecting with that for guidance of how deep to take your body, also recognizing when you can go a bit further and guiding you safely to places you’ve never been before. She is very intuitive with her adjustments and has a healing touch to her hands. She also incorporates yoga philosophy and life lessons into her class. Mary’s class will open and strengthen your body, freeing blockages and leave you with a great sense of peace.
Mary has been teaching yoga since 2007 and is 500 hr. certified. She teaches mostly Vinyasa flow but has training in most yoga traditions through trainings, workshops, and conventions. She is a certified MELT instructor, and also certified in Vedic Therapy and continues education in Natural Healing, Ayurveda, and all Yogic Traditions. Her time spent in India has also deepened her awareness of the true sacredness of yoga.
Besides her local yoga classes Mary also offers private instruction.

Emphasis on connection of movement with breath, connecting multiple poses to create a long, fluid, smooth and rhythmic movement. Faster than non-flow classes.
Tuesday 12:15-1:30 PM – MELT
Class for all levels. No previous MELT experience is necessary. Integrates the use of small balls and soft foam rollers to rehydrate connective tissue, balance the nervous system, relieve pain and increase flexibility and strength.
